The second Best Paths dissemination workshop titled, “Upgrading Europe’s grid to new high-capacity technologies”, took place on Wednesday, 26 October 2016 in Amano Grand Central Hotel in Berlin, Germany. The project experts met again to share their experiences, present the project’s mid-term status and receive feedback from stakeholders. The workshop gathered 60 industry professionals, policy stakeholders, and renewables sector actors. It also presented an opportunity for networking and knowledge sharing with other European grid projects. Representatives of e-Highway, MIGRATE, GARPUR and PROMOTioN projects joined the panel debate organised during the workshop to discuss the findings, complementarities and synergies between the different initiatives. The third dissemination workshop will take place in November 2017 in Madrid, Spain.
